Directional Tweaks

Hello, Good Readers:

I must apologize for the month-long hiatus. I’ve been trying to get caught up with writing projects, attended a women’s retreat, been on jury duty, praying and thinking about what comes next, etc. Lots of stuff, in other words. cross in hands

There is some news, however. I am about to embark on a bit of new direction for Cords of Grace blogs. (Been praying about that, too!)

• First, I will be revisiting previous subjects and adding deeper material or expanding on the earlier blogs, in addition to posting new material. Life is a continual learning project!

• I plan to start a monthly newsletter. This will be great opportunity for you to submit topic suggestions or reply with questions.

• Blog posts will be submitted weekly on Mondays with an occasional “in-between” one thrown in for grins.

• I have been adding study questions/guides to all my blog series while doing some revision. I started doing this for the church women’s group when I began teaching the monthly meetings last year. The discussions have been lively and the women learn from one another which is a good thing!
The guides can also be used for individual reflection, study, and growth. They will be offered from the website as PDF booklets on a “Pay as God Leads” basis. This means you will pay whatever you like, whether that’s $0.00 or $1,000. It’s between you and the Lord. Payment will be through PayPal.

Gift box Since the website is a year old, this is a “birthday celebration” of sorts. It’s a celebration of my feeling more settled in my work, my ministry, and in understanding God’s leading in my life. More peace and more inner healing, if you will.

I hope you enjoy the deeper teaching and that you will encourage friends to join us in our online learning. Remember, God is the Teacher, the Healer, and the source of all wisdom (James 1:5). Counselors can’t provide all that.

But if we don’t avail ourselves of His resources, we are the ones who could face defeat. (Proverbs 11:14).

Blessings on you as we journey together.
