I had no idea which way to turn after the PTSD symptoms hit.
I was forty-five, just minding my own business, when suddenly terrifying symptoms of severe vocal cord dysfunction started. I don’t know about you, but I really like to breathe.
The diagnosis of dissociation followed about 6 weeks later. Amazingly enough, all of my doctors and counselors knew what steps to take.
